Predstavljena je problematika elektronskega publiciranja, tipi elektronskih revij in njihova odmevnost. Na podlagi izdelane metodologije je narejen izbor revij, ki se pojavljajo v elektronski obliki na področju bibliotekarstva in informacijske znanosti (18 izbranih e-revij) ter geografije (9 izbranih e-revij). Narejena je primerjava med obravnavanima strokovnima področjema.
