Dominic and Francis were the founders of a new type of religious life that no longer required a fixed place of residence (stabilitas loci). In both orders, superiors were elected for a limited term rather than for life. Both orders were also mendicant, meaning that they did not possess extensive landed estates or abbeys like the older monastic orders. Each family consisted of three branches: the First Order of male religious, the Second Order of cloistered sisters, and the lay Third Order, which over time developed into numerous branches that continue to exist to this day</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Avtor članka najprej predstavi redovna ustanovitelja sv. Dominika de Guzmána (Caleruega, okrog, 1170–1221, Bologna) in sv. Obe družini sta imeli tri redove: prvi moški red, drugi red klavzurnih sester in laiški tretji red, ki so do danes pognali različne veje</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-5VJT9K6M"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-5VJT9K6M" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-5VJT9K6M/b2cee113-ce7e-46a6-b750-f20695443272/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Zgodovinsko društvo v Mariboru</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-5VJT9K6M/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-5VJT9K6M" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
