The research includes employees, trade unions of companies and associations, employers and their representatives in chambers, and associations from the hospitality and gaming industries as well as government representatives. The research showed that the difference between social operators is insignificant enough to satisfy both parties. Namely, nobody objects to tipping. In addition, most parties would like to have a regulated system of getting and giving tips, which would include employees from support sectors as well. Another important point is that almost all respondents share the opinion that the system of remuneration used in the US, where the salary of employees consists mostly of tips, is not acceptable in Slovenia. Findings of this research can provide a good basis for further tips regulation in Slovenia and the establishment of the principal-agent relationship"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave o urejenosti napitnine v slovenskem gostinstvu in igralništvu, ki je poleg zaposlenih zajela še sindikate na ravni podjetij in zvez, delodajalce in delodajalske predstavnike v zbornicah in združenjih s področja gostinstva in igralništva ter vladne predstavnike. V raziskavi je bilo ugotovljeno, da prepad med socialnimi deležniki le ni tako velik, da se področja napitnin ne bi dalo urediti tako, da bi bile zadovoljne vse udeležene strani. Nihče namreč ne nasprotuje zbiranju napitnine. Poleg tega bi večina udeleženih želela imeti urejen sistem zbiranja in delitve napitnine, ki bi vključeval tudi zaposlene iz podpornih služb. Pomembna je tudi visoka stopnja enotnosti v mnenju anketirancev, da sistem nagrajevanja, ki je v praksi v ZDA, kjer so zaposleni plačani pretežno iz napitnine, za Slovenijo ni sprejemljiv.
