These institutions also hold personal data, which do not belong to the users, but come from archival fonds and library and museum collections. These data are protected by \"Zakon o varovanju dokumentarnega in arhivskega gradiva ter arhivih\" in archives. In libraries in museums, on the other hand, they are protected with a different regulation, \"Zakon o varstvu podatkov\". This means that access to personal data is different. We intend to study this situation and present differences and problems stemming from it. Methodology/approach: In the discussion among co-authors, we studied management of personal data in archives, libraries and museums in Slovenia. Results: We presented the problem of different approaches on the example of legacies. Archives, libraries and museums have different responsibilities in the society. They are bound by different legislation. This means that users have different possibilities of access to archival, library and museum materials, even if in many cases, this material may be of the same nature. Research limitations: A theoretical overview and presentation of practice in the archives, libraries and museums on the national level. Originality/practical implications: This is the first comparative presentation of problems concerning personal data in the fonds and records of Slovenian archives, libraries and museums"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Namen: Uredba o varstvu osebnih podatkov je maja 2018 povzročila predvsem ukvarjanje s podatki o uporabnikih arhivov, knjižnic in muzejev. V teh ustanovah pa razpolagamo z osebnimi podatki in z občutljivimi osebnimi podatki, ki pa se ne tičejo naših uporabnikov, temveč se nahajajo v gradivu. Ti podatki so v arhivih varovani z Zakonom o varovanju dokumentarnega in arhivskega gradiva ter arhivih, v knjižnicah in muzejih pa z Zakonom o varstvu podatkov, kar pomeni velik razkorak v dostopnosti podatkov javnosti. Zato je naš namen proučiti položaj ter opozoriti na težave in razlike. Metodologija/pristop: Proučili smo ravnanje s to vrsto podatkov v vseh treh vrstah ustanov v Sloveniji. Rezultati: Na primeru zapuščin smo predstavili problematiko predpisov in raznolikost praktičnih rešitev. Zaradi različnega namena arhivov, knjižnic in muzejev ter razlik v predpisih, ki jih zavezujejo, je dostopnost istovrstnega gradiva v njih različna. Omejitve raziskave: Opravili smo teoretični pregled in predstavili izkušnje.
