Eksperimentalno in numerično smo preiskali betonske cilindre iz normalnega in lahkega nosilnega betona, ki so bili izpostavljeni sušenju na zgornji površini. V lahkem betonu so prisotni višji začetni nivoji vsebnosti vode, istočasno pa so hitrosti sušenja višje kot v normalnem betonu. Visoke, konstantne vrednosti hitrosti sušenja opazimo v začetni fazi sušenja tako med eksperimentom kot z numerično simulacijo.
