Castle as part of their art history and graphic design courses. The purpose of the tour was to gain a deeper understanding of Gothic art and connect theoretical knowledge with practice while also developing digital competencies and critical thinking. The aim of the research was to assess how the use of digital tools can contribute to a better understanding of art history content and to greater pupil involvement in the learning process. The pupils prepared for the field trip by researching artworks in advance and creating interactive presentations using modern digital tools such as Canva, Prezi, and Google Slides. In the field, they used Google Lens and Artivive applications to analyze the artworks and give their own presentations right next to the art exhibits. The pupils' progress was monitored by documenting their observations in the form of digital sketches, posters, and videos, which were later analyzed in class. In addition, pupils prepared reflective notes in which they evaluated their experiences, highlighted key findings, and provided suggestions for improvements in future field trips. Key findings confirm that digital tools promote active learning, the development of research and critical competencies, and enable creative expression. Documenting and reflecting on the visit further contributed to the consolidation of knowledge. The article emphasizes the importance of modern pedagogical approaches, which combine traditional teaching methods with interactive digital tools and strengthen pupils' independent research and analytical thinking</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Članek obravnava terenski pouk dijakov, ki so v okviru predmetov umetnostne zgodovine in grafičnega oblikovanja obiskali stalno gotsko razstavo na Ptujskem gradu. Namen ogleda razstave je bil poglobljeno razumevanje gotske umetnosti ter povezovanje teoretičnega znanja s prakso, obenem pa tudi razvoj digitalnih kompetenc in kritičnega razmišljanja. Cilj raziskave je bil oceniti, kako lahko uporaba digitalnih orodij prispeva k boljšemu razumevanju umetnostnozgodovinskih vsebin ter k večji vključenosti dijakov v učni proces. Dijaki so se na terenski pouk pripravljali s predhodnim raziskovanjem umetnin in izdelavo interaktivnih predstavitev s sodobnimi digitalnimi orodji, kot so Canva, Prezi in Google Slides. Na terenu so za analizo umetnin uporabljali aplikaciji Googlov Lens in Artivive ter lastne predstavitve podajali neposredno ob umetniških razstavnih predmetih. Napredek dijakov je bil spremljan skozi dokumentiranje opažanj v obliki digitalnih skic, plakatov in video zapisov, ki so jih kasneje analizirali v razredu. Poleg tega so dijaki pripravili refleksivne zapise, v katerih so ovrednotili svoje izkušnje, izpostavili ključna dognanja ter podali predloge za izboljšave pri prihodnjih terenskih učnih urah. Ključne ugotovitve potrjujejo, da digitalna orodja spodbujajo aktivno učenje, razvoj raziskovalnih in kritičnih kompetenc ter omogočajo ustvarjalno izražanje. Dokumentiranje in refleksija obiska sta dodatno prispevala k utrditvi znanja.
