In order for the Karađorđevićs to consolidate their ruling legitimacy on the territory of the new country and strengthen the Yugoslav identity of their citizens, various propaganda techniques were used, among which the planning and ceremonial unveiling of public monuments was one of the most important. In Slovenia, two equestrian statues, a few full body statues and busts, and a number of memorials, plaques and reliefs were dedicated to the monarchs. Commemorative linden trees were also planted in many places in memory of King Alexander. Although the monuments were mostly demolished after the start of the Second World War, some are still preserved in their original location or in museums</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V prispevku so predstavljena spominska obeležja pripadnikom kraljeve družine Karađorđević, ki so jih odkrivali na Slovenskem med obema vojnama in so bila najpogosteje posvečena kraljema Petru I. in Aleksandru I. Da bi Karađorđevići utrdili vladarsko legitimnost na ozemlju nove države in krepili jugoslovansko identiteto svojih državljanov, so uporabljali različne propagandne prijeme, med katerimi je bilo načrtovanje in svečano odkrivanje javnih spomenikov eden najpomembnejših. Na Slovenskem so monarhom postavili dva konjeniška kipa, nekaj celopostavnih in doprsnih kipov ter največ spominskih obeležij, plošč in reliefov. Prav tako so v spomin kralju Aleksandru v številnih krajih sadili spominske lipe. Čeprav so bili spomeniki po začetku druge svetovne vojne večinoma porušeni, pa so nekateri še vedno ohranjeni na prvotni lokaciji ali v muzejih</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-4IAJ67FZ"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-4IAJ67FZ" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-4IAJ67FZ/d8e1fe74-fbcd-4a54-98d5-7c3eabb432cd/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Zgodovinsko društvo dr.
