Looking ahead, the author discusses the question, whether it is (still) suitable to regulate the following two ways of participation, namely the right to co-determination and the right to withhold execution of an employer's decision. These two participative ways are looked at in the light of substantive starting points of employee participation, Slovenian Constitution, binding international legal sources, legal culture and current societal structure. S pogledom v prihodnost avtor razpravlja o vprašanju, ali je še smotrno vnaprej urejati stopnji soodločanja in zadržanja odločitve delodajalca z vidika vsebinskih izhodišč delavske participacije, ustavnih zahtev in (zavezujočih) mednarodnih pravnih aktov ter z vidika pravne kulture in sedanjega družbenega ustroja.
