Therefore, a six-storey prefabricated timber structure of a height of 15 m and with a regular floor-plan is analysed by a seismic excitation of ag = 0.225 · g with a strong asymmetrical position of transparent façade elements. Two structural solutions are analysed: a hybrid system combining CLT and Light Timber-Framed walls and a non-hybrid structure made entirely of CLT. In both cases, DSF elements are first considered non-resisting and later as racking-resisting bracing elements. Numerical results show that using racking-resisting DSF elements in a hybrid system (CLT+LTF) achieves a similar increase in overall racking stiffness as a non-hybrid CLT structure with non-resisting DSF. Previous studies highlight hybrid timber systems as the preferred approach due to structural, energy-efficient, and ecological advantages. This finding is significant, offering practical benefits and new design opportunities for modern tall timber buildings with asymmetrical transparent façades, improving both energy efficiency and interior illumination in contemporary prefabricated structures</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-3YJNKK6M"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-3YJNKK6M" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-3YJNKK6M/e206aef3-69ad-48fd-9539-fca363b639f2/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Mariboru, Fakulteta za strojništvo, Inštitut za proizvodno strojništvo</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-3YJNKK6M/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-3YJNKK6M" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
