Tennis players were aged from 11 to 18 years of age. All of them were selected on wider Slovene national team list and took part in regular annual measurements in period since 1992 to 2015. We calculated descriptive statistics and connection and influence of chosen variables with competitive successfulness, that was determined with assessment of six tennis experts. Variables for morphological characteristics, body composition, locomotor efficiencies, quick and explosive power of legs, hand grip strength, running endurance and training characteristics showed statistical correlation with competition successfulness. We formed the expert system tree of potential successfulness of young tennis players for above listed fields of variables. In addition, we introduced results of three young tennis players in shape of an expert tree, that can be illustratively presented to tennis coaches"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku predstavljamo postopek oblikovanja in preverjanja modela potencialne uspešnosti mladih teniških igralcev in igralk z ekspertnim sistemom. V vzorec merjencev so bili vključeni mladi teniški igralci od 11. do 18. leta starosti, uvrščeni v širši izbor reprezentantov TZS, ki so se v obdobju od 1992 do 2015 udeležili rednih letnih meritev. Za izbrane spremenljivke morfoloških značilnosti, sestave telesa, gibalne učinkovitosti, ravnotežja, hitre in eksplozivne moči nog, moči stiska roke, tekaške vzdržljivosti in značilnosti treniranja, smo izračunali opisno statistiko ter povezanost in vpliv izbranih spremenljivk s tekmovalno uspešnostjo, ki je bila določena z oceno šestih ekspertov. Na osnovi zbranih podatkov smo oblikovali ekspertno drevo modela potencialne uspešnosti mladih teniških igralcev in igralk za zgoraj našteta področja merjenja.
