Since its inception, ethics and its regulation via codes of practice has been essential (De los Santos y Lara Burgos, 2004). At an international level, new models for analysing interpreters’ work, such as the Demand-Control Schema(Dean y Pollard, 2011, 2013) and the Role Space (Llewellyn-Jones y Lee, 2014), have had an important impact on academia, reshaping the ethical analysis frame-work and, thus, entailing that these professionals’ training is undergoing an up-heaval. (efsli, 2013). Those models adopt a teleological approach to professional ethics, challenging the traditional deontological approach (Calle-Alberdi, 2015). This study examines the only university-level training programme for Spanish Sign Language interpreters in Spain, the Spanish Sign Language and Deaf Community Degree, at Rey Juan Carlos University. For this purpose, three case studies including ethical dilemmas have been proposed. These ethical dilemmas are related to the essential pillars of the deontological code created by the Spanish Federation of Sign Language Interpreters and Guide-Interpreters (FILSE, 2002), and have been presented to the aforementioned students. Semi-structured interviews were carried out and, bearing in mind their professional ethics rea-soning patterns, conclusions have been drawn, presenting the way students apply the deontological code when making decisions. This initial study allows us to conclude that, in specific situations, students generate a dilemma between deontology and teleology, the latter being the approach suggested by the latest analysis’ frameworks. Nevertheless, it appears there is a need to foster deeper understanding of the new models during the training of future LSE interpreters"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Profesionalizacija tolmačenja španskega znakovnega jezika je razmeroma nova, vendar sta že od vsega začetka imeli etika in njena ureditev v kodeksih delovanja osrednjo vlogo (De los Santos in Lara Burgos, 2004). Na mednarodni ravni so novi modeli analize dela tolmačev, kot sta Demand-Control Schema (Dean in Pollard, 2011, 2013) in Role Space (Llewellyn-Jones in Lee, 2014), pomembno vplivali na akademski svet, ker so preoblikovali okvir za analizo etike, s tem pa so vplivali tudi na usposabljanje strokovnjakov, ki trenutno doživlja popolno preobrazbo (efsli, 2013). Ti modeli uvajajo teleološki pristop k poklicni etiki in postavljajo pod vprašaj tradicionalni deontološki pristop (Calle-Alberdi, 2015). Pričujoči prispevek preučuje usposabljanje o poklicni etiki v okviru edinega univerzitetnega programa, ki izobražuje tolmače za znakovni jezik v Španiji: Prvostopenjski program iz španskega znakovnega jezika in skupnosti gluhih na Univerzi Rey Juan Carlos. V ta namen so bile oblikovane tri študije primerov, ki vsebujejo določeno etično dilemo, ki se nanaša na temeljne steb-re deontološkega kodeksa Španske federacije tolmačev za znakovni jezik in vodnikov tolmačev (Federación Espanola de Intérpretes de Lengua de Signos y Guía-intérpretes, FILSE, 2002), predstavljene pa so bile vzorcu študentov zaključnega letnika prvostopenjskega programa. Na osnovi polstrukturiranih intervjujev ter upoštevanja vzorcev razmišljanja pri uporabi poklicne etike, smo prišli do različnih zaključkov, ki nam kažejo, kako študenti uporabljajo deontološki kodeks pri sprejemanju odločitev. Na osnovi teh primerov lahko zaključimo, da se študentom v specifičnih situacijah porodi dilema med deontologijo in teleologijo, ki jo zagovarjajo novi modeli analize. Vsekakor pa bo treba v bodoče posvetiti več pozornosti poglobljenemu razumevanju novih modelov med samim usposabljanjem prihodnjih tolmačev znakovnega jezika"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"La profesionalización de la interpretación de lengua de signos espanola (LSE) es relativamente joven y, desde sus inicios, la ética y su regulación mediante códigos de actuación ha sido esencial (De los Santos y Lara Burgos, 2004). A nivel internacional, nuevos modelos de análisis del trabajo de los intérpretes como el Demand-Control Schema (Dean y Pollard, 2011, 2013) y el Role Space(Llewellyn-Jones y Lee, 2014) han tenido un importante impacto académico, replanteando el marco de análisis éticos y, por ende, la formación de estos profesionales está en plena transformación (efsli, 2013). Tales modelos adoptan una perspectiva teleológica de la ética profesional, cuestionando el tradicional enfoque deontológico (Calle-Alberdi, 2015). Este trabajo examina la forma-ción recibida sobre ética profesional en el único programa universitario que forma a intérpretes de LSE en este país: el Grado en Lengua de Signos Espanola y Comunidad Sorda de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Para ello, se han elaborado unos supuestos prácticos que propician un dilema ético, basado en los pilares fundamentales del código deontológico propuesto por la Federación Espanola de Intérpretes de Lengua de Signos y Guía-intérpretes (FIL-SE, 2002), y se han presentado a una muestra de alumnado del último curso de dicho grado. A través de entrevistas semiestructuradas y atendiendo a los patrones de razonamiento que usan en la aplicación de su ética profesional, se han extraído diversas conclusiones que nos indican cómo articulan la toma de decisiones para aplicar el código deontológico.
