Košuta (Karavanke, northern Slovenia) above timberline. The area falls into grid cells 9551/4, 9552/3 and 9552/4, based on the floristic mapping of the Central European flora and was floristically neglected in the past. In 42 days of fieldwork in the years from 2008 to 2010 we registered 483 taxa. Vouchers of all taxa are deposited in the Herbarium of the University of Ljubljana (LJU). Interesting taxa, among others Androsace lactea, Carex flavella, Carex rupestris, Campanula barbata, Elyna myosuroides, Eleocharis quinqeflora, Ranunculus auricomus agg., Sempervivum tectorum subsp. schotii and Viola zoysii, are thoroughly described. The data were compared with mostly unpublished records from three floristic databases. The registered taxa were compared with species records from other parts of the Karavanke Mts. and the Kamniške Alpe, and the floristic composition of the western and the eastern parts of Mt. Košuta was compared"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek vsebuje pregled flore slovenskega dela Košute nad gozdno mejo in temelji na istoimenski diplomski nalogi Špele Novak. Greben Košute je del Karavank in leži v treh kvadrantih mreže srednjeevropskega kartiranja flore (9551/4, 9552/3 in 9552/4), ki so bili glede na objavljene podatke slabo floristično raziskani (nekoliko bolje le zahodni kvadrant). Del severne strani grebena, ki leži v Avstriji, ni bil vključen v popis. Terensko delo je obsegalo 42 terenskih dni, ki smo jih opravili med letoma 2008 in 2010. Popisali smo 483 taksonov praprotnic in semenk, 375 v kvadrantu 9551/4, 351 v kvadrantu 9552/3 in 280 v kvadrantu 9552/4. Vsak podatek smo dokumentirali z vsaj enim herbarijskim primerkom, ki smo ga vložili v herbarijsko zbirko Univerze v Ljubljani (LJU). Zanimivejše taksone, med katere sodijo Androsace lactea, Carex flavella, Carex rupestris, Campanula barbata, Elyna myosuroides, Eleocharis quinqeflora, Ranunculus auricomus agg., Sempervivum tectorum subsp. schotii in Viola zoysii, podrobneje obravnavamo. V nalogi smo zbrali tudi podatke iz drugih florističnih podatkovnih zbirk.
