It is an important part of everyday life and as such a valuable source of information to researchers. Small prints are largely due to the desire for quicker and cheaper publishing, and are intended for a limited audience. Often we are faced with a question to store small prints or not. Its value grows with time , it reveals the reality and development of society. It gives information which cannot be found elsewhere thus helping build an insight into a certain era, when it was produced. Cataloguing of small prints requires a different approach, as often it does not contain information about the publisher, author, year of publication and other information. In such cases we often choose to build a collective entry. Small prints have a large cultural and informational value and for these reasons we store it for the future"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Knjižno gradivo, ki ga imenujemo drobni tisk, je najobsežnejše in vsebinsko pestro gradivo. Je pomemben del vsakdanjega življenja in dragocen vir informacij za tiste, ki raziskujejo. Največjo značilnost drobnega tiska lahko pripišemo želji po hitrejšem in cenejšem objavljanju dokumentov, ki so običajno namenjeni le ožjemu krogu uporabnikov. Velikokrat se pojavlja vprašanje, ali hraniti drobni tisk ali ne. Vrednost drobnega tiska raste s časovno distanco, v njem se skrivata realnost in razvoj naše družbe. Drobni tisk zagotavlja informacije, ki jih ni mogoče najti nikjer drugje in pomaga pri vpogledu v določeno dobo, ko je bil le-ta proizveden. Bibliografska obdelava drobnega tiska zahteva drugačen pristop h gradivu, saj običajno ni podatka o izdajatelju, o avtorjih, ni letnice izdaje ali drugih podatkov. V takšnih primerih se raje odločamo za uvrstitev v zbirni zapis.
