Furthermore, collocations and idiomatic expressions, fixed by form, meaning or use, also appear in very particular types of sports commentary, for instance in the football player analysis, where they take on different roles. The pragmatic aspect of the football terminological expressions ensures communication within this specific domain. The phraseological units, however, also have a stylistic role. Firstly, the journalistic expressions announce the type of text, in this case the media sports discourse. Secondly, many expressions are included with the sole purpose of making the otherwise technical text richerLa présence d'unités phraséologiques dans un texte sportif n'est pas due aux coincidences. Les collocations et les locutions, figées les unes par la forme et le sens, les autres par l'emploi, paraissent aussi dans un type de commentaire sportif, a savoir les notes des joueurs, et y assument différents rôles. Dans la dimension pragmatique se trouvent les expressions qui font partie de la terminologie du football. Elles sont nécessaires pour communiquer dans le domaine de spécialité concerné. La dimension stylistique permet de distinguer, d'un côté, les expressions journalistiques, inscrivant le texte dans un discours sportif médiatisé, et, de l'autre, les locutions stylistiques qui dynamisent le texte spécialiséPrisotnost frazeoloških enot v športnem besedilu ni naključje. Stalne besedne zveze - po obliki in pomenu ali po rabi - se pojavljajo tudi v podzvrsteh športnega komentarja. V medijskih ocenah športnikov (nogometašev) tako kolokacije in frazemi prevzemajo različne vloge. Nogometni terminološki izrazi so ključni s pragmatičnega vidika, saj omogočajo izražanje na specifičnem športno%-nogometnem področju. Obravnavani frazeološki enoti pa imata tudi stilistični vlogi; prva je vezana na skupek novinarskih izrazov, ki spremljajo tip besedila, to je medijski športni govor.
