Theoretical backgrounds of stereotypes and generations, as presented in this paper, serve as the basis for our qualitative research based on theoretical knowledge about generations, stereotypes, and intergenerational stereotypes. The research was carried out in different companies in Slovenia. In this paper, we present results of a study in which we examined three generations in the labour market. We explored whether the employees (subordinates and leaders) perceive the differences between the generations and what kinds they perceive. We compared the results with presented stereotypes and examined if stereotypes of generations exceed the actual differences between the generations raised by the interviewees in our study. Based on the findings, recommendations for practice and for further research are given</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Na trgu dela so danes štiri generacije in nanje so vplivali zelo različni dogodki. Na osnovi ugotovitev raziskave so podana priporočila za prakso in za nadaljnje raziskovanje</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-2GMMQ7RP"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-2GMMQ7RP" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-2GMMQ7RP/742e9371-0501-44e2-aefa-fcb01d457917/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Mariboru, Ekonomsko-poslovna fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-2GMMQ7RP/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-2GMMQ7RP" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
