Based on this starting point, the article analyses the field of knowledge known as "Romology". The present analysis shows which social actors of power established the difference between those Roma who are represented as "autochtonous" and confined to one specific territories, claimed to be "autochtonous areas of settlement", and the so-called "non-autochtonous" Roma. The analysis demonstrates that the above-mentioned studies base their conclusions on the primordial and biological conceptualisations of culture, allegedly "naturally" bound to certain spaces and territories. Relying on the collected ethnography, the author crucially depicts the process, which generates the discourse of "autochtony" and "non-autochtony" in the relation between the Roma, national Romany policy, and academic tradition, which represents itself as "Romology", "Slovenian national question" or "ethnic studies."</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Izhodišče prispevka je vprašanje, kako se kultura povezuje s prostorom in kakšno vlogo imajo pri tem različni reprezentanti moči, na primeru konstruiranja skupinskosti Romov v Sloveniji. "neavtohtonimi" Romi. Ob tem analiza pokaže, da omenjene študije temeljijo na primordialnih, biologističnih konceptualizacijah kulture, ki da so domnevno "naravno" vezane na določene prostore in teritorije. Avtorica ob podajanju etnografije kritično oriše proces, v katerem nastaja diskurz o "avtohtonosti" in "neavtohtonosti" v odnosu med Romi, državno romsko politiko, in strokovno tradicijo, ki se reprezentira bodisi kot "romologija" bodisi kot "slovensko narodnostno vprašanje" ali "etnične študije"</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-2EWD85NN"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-2EWD85NN" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-2EWD85NN/031f2757-541e-41d3-9c25-2ad4a89f10a8/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Inštitut za narodnostna vprašanja</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-2EWD85NN/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-2EWD85NN" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
