Some of the GPS measuring techniques may already be considered classical measurements and some new techniques are still appearing. This holds true especially in the case of DGPS which is widely known, but has not come into wide practical use. In some central European countries, the DGPS positioning technique is used in everyday practice, but in others it is almost unknown.
