The purpose of our research was to determine the representation of women in leadership positions in Slovenian sports organizations—a relatively underexplored topic in Slovenian research. Data collection was conducted through the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, which distributed the survey via its members to all sports organizations in Slovenia. The majority of respondents in the survey, which was predominantly completed by male sports workers across various levels, held presidential positions and came from the Central Slovenian region. In addition to socio-demographic indicators, the survey included questions regarding gender representation in sports organizations, education and region, as well as perceptions of opportunities for attaining leadership positions. Nearly half of the respondents reported that men dominated their sports organizations, that women held fewer leadership positions compared to men, and that women received lower wages for similar work. Despite these findings, almost all male respondents and the majority of female respondents stated that they believed men and women were treated equally and had the same opportunities. It is important to note the limitations of the study, particularly that the survey was predominantly completed by individuals already employed in sport, mostly in managerial positions. This may have influenced their relatively positive perceptions of workplace opportunities. Future research should include perspectives from those who do not have the opportunity to work in sports organizations to provide a more comprehensive understanding. The findings of this research provide an important insight into the situation of equal opportunities, which should serve as a basis for strategic measures to enhance equal opportunities in sport and society at large"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Vprašanje enakih možnosti spolov za uveljavljanje na različnih področjih se pojavlja že vrsto let, tudi v športu. Namen našega raziskovanja je bil preučiti zastopanost žensk na vodilnih položajih v slovenskih športnih organizacijah, tj. vidik, ki je kot raziskovalna tema v slovenskem raziskovalnem prostoru sicer razmeroma zanemarjen. Zbiranje podatkov je potekalo v okviru Olimpijskega komiteja Slovenije. Ta je anketo prek svojih članic poslal vsem športnim organizacijam v Sloveniji. Anketo so izpolnjevali delavci v športu na vseh ravneh, med njimi so prevladovali moški, največ anketiranih je opravljalo funkcijo predsednika in največ jih je prihajalo iz osrednjeslovenske regije. V anketo so bila poleg sociodemografskih kazalnikov zajeta vprašanja o zastopanosti spolov v športnih organizacijah, izobrazbi in regiji ter o dojemanju možnosti za doseganje vodilnih položajev. Skoraj polovica anketirancev poroča, da v njihovi športni organizaciji prevladujejo moški, da je delež žensk na vodilnih položajih v športnih organizacijah manjši v primerjavi z moškimi ter da ženske prejemajo nižje plačilo za podobno opravljena dela. Hkrati skoraj vsi anketiranci moškega spola menijo, da so moški in ženske enakopravno obravnavani; tudi ženske v večini navajajo, da imajo enake možnosti. Omeniti je treba omejitve študije, in sicer da so anketo izpolnjevali po večini tisti zaposleni, ki že delujejo v športu, večinoma na vodstvenih položajih, zato je njihovo dojemanje možnosti prilagojeno temu relativnemu zadovoljstvu na delovnem mestu. Potrebna bi bila nadaljnja raziskovanja, in sicer z različnih vidikov: v vzorec bi bilo treba zajeti posameznike, ki nimajo možnosti za delovanje v športnih organizacijah.
