We tried to encompass the theoretical starting points which represent the foundation for integrating content learning with German. Different forms of foreign language content teaching are presented, with the common designation - CLIL. We tested our hypothesis: teaching according to CLIL has a positive effect on student motivation. Our focus was on reading motivation. Poskušali smo zaobjeti teoretična izhodišča, ki predstavljajo temelj za povezovanje predmetnega pouka z nemščino. Predstavljene so različne oblike tujejezikovnega predmetnega poučevanja, ki so našle skupno poimenovanje - CLIL.
