The protagonist of the novel, Tomaž Lakner, is living out the role of the small ego, which in the twentieth century still takes place in the spirit of the Biblical ethical formula, i.e., "the world as a whole is clearly divided into Good and Evil." Man/the little ego is divided the same way, says the epilogue of the novel, which could have also been its prologue or theological-philosophical intorduction. It says that Good/light was created by god, while Evil was created by demons. - The protagonist of the novel Nokturno za Primorsko (2004) is a national minded Slovene priest Florijan Burnik. He serves as a priest in the Littoral during the years of Iralian Fascist national oppression, German occupation, and Partisan resistance. He resists the Church's conformity in Italianizing Slovenes, bur he also has reservations about the supporters of the Liberation Front and the participants in the Partisan movement. He refuses the invitaion to the convention of Slovene national delegats besause he does not want to be a politician. Instead, he would go to an ecclesiastic 'holy" gathering</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Izgubljeni sveženj (2002) Rudija Šelige je roman o malem jazu in o velikem Jazu ali utopijah, ideologijah, ki obljubljajo spremeniti človeka in družbo.
