By enhancing the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and positive discrimination, European youth programmes ensure equal opportunities. Although young people with fewer opportunities enter programme activities with different starting points compared to their peers without limited access to opportunities, this does not lead to differences in learning outcomes. The authors deal with social and cultural capital, equity in education, the importance of non-formal education and the barriers of young people to participation in programmes</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V prispevku avtorice z opisom vsebinskih, strukturnih in finančnih značilnosti evropskih programov na področju mladine ter povzemanjem raziskav in analiz učinkov njihovega izvajanja iz obdobja od 2019 do 2023 utemeljujejo vlogo programov pri socialnem vključevanju mladih. Z okrepljenim vključevanjem mladih z manj priložnostmi in pozitivno diskriminacijo evropski programi na področju mladine zagotavljajo enake možnosti. Čeprav mladi z manj priložnostmi vstopajo v aktivnosti programov z drugačnimi izhodišči v primerjavi z vrstniki brez omejenega dostopa do priložnosti, to ne povzroča razlik pri učnih dosežkih.
