Zosteraceous species Potamogeton filiformis has been known in Slovenia only from the Submediterranean. Megalopteran Sialis nigripes and neuropteran Sisyra terminalis are new for Yugoslavia. River plant communities belong to the associations Potameto perfoliati-Ranunculetum fluitantis and Ceratophylletum demersi. Among plants quantitatively prevail higher-plant genera Ranunculus, Myriophyllum and Potamogeton. Among animals dominate Gastropoda, Amphipoda, Diptera, Ephemeroptera and Trichoptera. Travertine formation is supported indirectly by macrophyta, and directly by Cyanophyta, snails, shells and trichopterous and chironomid larvae. Polution, determined by indicators-species, is within the category of middle pollution, i.e. beta mesosaprobic class"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Na preiskanem odseku Krke (Dolenjska, Jugoslavija) smo obdelali 103 vrste vodnih rastlin in 20 kategorij nevretenčarjev. Dristavec Potamogeton filiformis je bil doslej znan v Sloveniji le iz Submediterana. Blatnica Sialisnigripes in mrežekrilec Sisyra terminalis sta za favno Jugoslavije novi vrsti. Rečne rastlinske združbe sodijo v asociaciji Potameto perfoliati-Ranunculetum fluitantis in Ceratophylletum demersi. Med rastlinami je kvantitativno največ cvetnic iz rodov Ranunculus, Myriophyllum in Potamogeton. Med živalmi prevladujejo polži, amfipodi, dipteri, efemeropteri in trihopteri. Pri tvorbi travertina posredno sodelujejo makrofiti, neposrednopa cianofiti, polži, školjke ter ličinke trihopterov in hironomidov.
