Izhaja iz stališča, da se lahko nekateri osnovni aspekti pomena stalnih besednih zvez (kot na primer odnos izjavljalca ali pa eventuelni interaktvini ter modalni elementi) analizirajo zgolj s pragmatičnega vidika, predvsem zaradi dejstva, da gre za jezikovne znake z intenzivnim kontekstualnim in inferencialnim potencialom.
