The conducted activities consisted of three themes. We revised and strengthened basic computational thinking concepts with the aid of mTiny robots and coding cards. After that, we introduced the loop concept. Our third theme was coding with decision trees. We wanted to determine whether these various concepts interfere with each other in activities that demand understanding and solving given tasks. With the research, we tried to develop pupils’ logical thinking and creativity, collaboration skills, and ability to divide complex problems into minor ones. For the chosen area of computing and informatics, algorithms, and coding, the data was collected by participant observation. The chosen method showed that cases of executed activities were effective. The mentioned concepts are complementary. The pupils progressed in breaking down problems, logical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Provided feedback consisted of approval, constructive criticism, and encouragement to listen to each other and learn from their fellow peers' experiences"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek prikazuje razvijanje temeljnih elementov računalniškega mišljenja, pri čemer so v ospredju koncepti ponavljanja (zanke) in odločanja, ki so jih učenci spoznavali s pomočjo preprostih odločitvenih struktur. Izvedene aktivnosti so bile sestavljene iz teh treh tem. Pri prvi smo z učenci ponovili in utrdili koncepte računalniškega mišljenja s pomočjo robotka mTiny in kodirnih kartic. Nato smo uvedli nov pojem, pojem zanka. Tretja tema je zajemala kodiranje z odločitvenimi drevesi. Zanimalo nas je, kako se posamezni koncepti med seboj dopolnjujejo pri razumevanju in reševanju nalog. Z raziskavo smo želeli spodbuditi logično razmišljanje in kreativnost, razvijati sodelovanje in sposobnost razčlenjevanja kompleksnih problemov na manjše enote. Za izbrano področje računalništva in informatike, algoritmi in programiranje, so bili podatki zbrani z metodo opazovanja z udeležbo. Ta metoda je pokazala, da so se primeri izvedenih dejavnosti izkazali za učinkovite. Omenjeni koncepti se med seboj dopolnjujejo. Učenci so pokazali napredek pri razčlenjevanju problemov, logičnem razmišljanju, kreativnem pristopu, sodelovanju v skupini ter komunikaciji.
