With the aim to raise physical activity and health of Slovenian children and adolescents, Slovenia and other developed countries measure their outcomes. Slovenia joined the World Active Initiative Kids Global Alliance in 2016 to monitor policy measures to increase the physical activity of children and adolescents. A group of Slovenian experts prepared a Report for Slovenia 2016 in international comparison Global Matrix 2.0. In this global analysis, 38 countries from 6 continents participated (representing 60% of the world's population). All countries assessed physical activity according to nine indicators following the uniform methodology: Overall physical activity; Organized sport participation; Active play; Active transport;Sedentary behaviours; Family and peers; School, Community and built environment and Government strategies and investments. The average estimates of all indicators were highest in Denmark, Slovenia and the Netherlands. Slovenia performed the best in the indicator of the school with the highest possible grade A and in the Overall physical activity with grade A-. The lowest rated indicator for Slovenia was Active play (grade D), while for Family and peers and the Community and the Built environment we did not report grade du to lack of the information</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Povečanje telesne nedejavnosti otrok in mladine ter z njo poveznih zdravstvenih tveganj je eden perečih problemov sodobne družbe. Njen najnižje ocenjen kazalnik je bil dejavna igra (ocena D), medtem ko za kazalnika družina in prijatelji ter skupnost in grajeno okolje nimamo dovolj ustreznih podatkov za vrednotenje</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-16UMWXUS"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-16UMWXUS" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-16UMWXUS/c8c2ace2-219f-43b3-a0bf-bce077a0fa6c/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za šport</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-16UMWXUS/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-16UMWXUS" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
