The aim of this contribution was to estimate the time of occurrence of imagos in four saproxylic beetles ofconservation importance in Slovenia, to estimate peak of activity, and to give recommendations for periods in which censuses should be conducted. The analysis of non-systematically collected data of findings and observations in Slovenia was applied. In three species, Lucanus cervus, Rosalia alpina and Morinus funereus, there was enough data to follow changes in phenology in the period between 1900 and 2007. It seemed that changes were significant in species eclosing later in the year (summer species - L. cervus, R. alpina), but not in earlier eclosing (spring) species, i.e. M. funereus. Considering the species phenology and their changes recorded in 20th century the optimal period for conducting censuses in Slovenia is given: for L. cervus end of Juneand the first half of July, C. cerdo June, R. alpina second half of July and M. funereus second half of May and June. A question about the influence ofglobal warming on the phenology of beetles in Slovenia emerges, although this preliminary study, due to low amount of considered species, cannot give proper answers"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Saproksilne vrste hroščev veljajo za eno najbolj ogroženih ekoloških skupin hroščev v Evropi, vendar so v Sloveniji dokaj slabo poznane. Namen prispevka je ugotoviti čas pojavljanja imagov štirih varstveno pomembnih saproksilnih vrst hroščev v Sloveniji, oceniti vrh aktivnosti vsake vrste in podati priporočila za obdobja, v katerih naj se izvajajo popisi izbranih vrst. Opravljena je bila analiza do sedaj zbranih naključnih najdb in opazovanj v Sloveniji. Pri treh vrstah, Lucanus cervus, Rosalia alpina in Morinus funereus, je mogoče spremljati tudi spremembe pojavljanja v obdobju od leta 1900 do 2007 spričo večjega nabora dostopnih podatkov pred letom 1950. Spremembe so se izkazale za značilne pri poznih oziroma poletnih vrstah (L. cervus, R. alpina), pri zgodnejših oziroma pomladnih vrstah pa ne (M. funereus). Upoštevajoč fenološke spremembe so podana optimalna obdobja za izvajanje popisov v Sloveniji: za L. cervus konec junija in prva polovica julija, C. cerdo junija, R. alpina druga polovica julija in M. funereus druga polovica maja in junij.
