Based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, patients' rights have also been canonised. European Union has published its own declaration comprising 14 basic patient's rights. Based on those documents, individual states have set their laws and rules that extend specific areas and define certain rights more precisely, adapt others to their circumstances, and include the financial aspect of health care. In the past the field of patient rights referred primarily to the dilemmas during urgent medical interventions, but lately more attention is also being given to patient rights within rehabilitation. Legally binding documents list patients rights as well as their duties, obligations of health care professionals and of the institutions that provide rehabilitation services. All the fields of right, ranging from the right to equal opportunity for inclusion into rehabilitation programs to the right to respectful professional treatment and participation in planning rehabilitation goals, have to be respected by all the rehabilitation providers as part of high-quality health services for adults and children</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Pravica do življenja in zdravja sta del najbolj osnovnih človekovih pravic. Vsa področja pravic, od pravice do enakovrednih možnosti za vključitev v rehabilitacijsko obravnavo do pravice do dostojanstvene, strokovne obravnave in možnosti sodelovanja pri načrtovanju rehabilitacijskih ciljev, so dolžne upoštevati vse rehabilitacijske ustanove kot del kakovostne obravnave odraslih in otrok</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-0XE0YIQ6"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-0XE0YIQ6" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-0XE0YIQ6/554c4aa6-34ff-41d3-8c47-9026f3444c2f/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerzitetni rehabilitacijski inštitut RS – Soča</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-0XE0YIQ6/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-0XE0YIQ6" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
