Over the past few years, the training methods and rehabilitation are not based only on experience and intuition, but also on technologies in the training process which yield objective indicators of the athlete's or patient's preparedness. Effective training methods and rehabilitation are a product of a programmed and controlled training process. The technological equipment is available in laboratories which meet international standards for expert developmental and scientific research activities in functional diagnostics. Without information on motor, physical, physiological and biochemical characteristics it is impossible to accurately plan, programme and model the modern training process. The acquired data facilitate the process of selecting the optimal methods and means for training methods and rehabilitation as well as planning and modifying the sports preparation of an individual or a homogeneous group</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V sodobnem športnem treningu ima športna diagnostika, ki temelji na novih tehnologijah in tehnološko-metodoloških rešitvah, izjemno pomembno vlogo. Smisel diagnostičnih postopkov je ugotavljanje uporabnih in čim bolj objektivnih parametrov trenutne pripravljenosti športnika - deskarja na snegu. Brez podatkov o gibalnih, morfoloških, fizioloških in biokemičnih značilnostih ni mogoče načrtovati, programirati in modelirati sodobnega procesa treniranja. Na osnovi pridobljenih podatkov je mogoče izbrati najoptimalnejše metode in sredstva, načrtovati ciklizacijo (program treninga) in korekcije športnikove priprave. Deskanje na snegu sodi med popularnejše zimske športe, najbolj razvita je disciplina prostega sloga, ki ima ogromno privržencev med mladimi. Na atraktivnost panoge in profesionalni pristop med športniki vpliva tudi dejstvo, da je na olimpijskih igrah v Sočiju premierno na sporedu tudi disciplina slopestyle, ki združuje objekte, kot so skoki in trdi elementi znotraj poligona za prosti slog smučanja in deskanja.
