On-going research studies are in progress in order to confirm the high pharmacological potential of the standardized mixture of natural cannabinoids that can be used for the treatment of pain, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, kahexia and anorexia. Even more, some sporadic cases in reduction of solid tumours were observed, however, more clinical studies have to be performed in order to clinically confirm these observations"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Izvlečke konoplje z veliko vsebnostjo kanabinoidov so že stoletja uporabljali v medicinske namene tako v tradicionalni medicini kot tudi v uradnem zdravljenju do začetka druge svetovne vojne. Kasneje izdelkov, ki so vsebovali psihoaktivni delta-9-tetrahidrokanabinol in psihoneaktivna, a farmakološko pomembna kanabinol in kanabidiol, v uradni medicini niso predpisovali do leta 2010, ko je bilo v Evropski uniji registrirano prvo zdravilo na osnovi naravnih kanabinoidov z namenom zmanjševanja spastičnosti pri multipli sklerozi.
