His life and work are placed in the context of the occupation and annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the establishment of a new administrative and legal system, the activities of secret student associations and the repressive reaction of the authorities. At the same time, the text traces the social conditions of the ethnically and religiously diverse environment of the time and devotes particular attention to Banja Luka, where Oblak and his family lived for the longest time. The article is based on the methods of historiography and biographical research and draws on the contexts of microhistory and cultural transfer"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Besedilo na podlagi literature, arhivskih virov iz Arhiva Republike Srpske in družinskih arhivov ter na podlagi intervjujev s sorodniki, zgodovinarji in s pravnimi strokovnjaki opisuje delovanje sodnika Augustina Oblaka (1875, Vrhnika - 1935, Ljubljana) v času, ko je med leti 1895 in 1934 kot državni uradnik služboval v Bosni in Hercegovini. Njegovo življenje in delo sta umeščena v kontekste okupacije in aneksije Bosne in Hercegovine, vzpostavljanja novega upravnega in pravnega sistema, delovanja tajnih dijaških društev in represivnega odziva oblasti. Ob tem besedilo riše takratne družbene razmere narodnostno in versko raznolikega okolja in se še posebej posveti Banjaluki, kjer je Oblak z družino tudi najdlje živel.
