In Slovenia, there are several scattered sources and methods of data collection. The aim of this article is to identify, assemble and present in one place the sources that contain key data on oral health in Slovenia. Data sources can be divided into primary and secondary ones. Primary data sources in dentistry can be further divided into research and report data, clinical and non-clinical data, and data by population groups (children, adolescents, adults). Secondary data sources can be found in various Slovenian and international publications and databases that draw data from one or more primary sources.
