The findings are based on the case study of aspect-voice and aspect-mood disagreement from the comparison of Trubar's (1557) and Dalmatin's (1584) translations of the gospels. The repetitive, uniform substitution also revealed some typical differences between Trubar's and Dalmatin's practice in employment of the standard language.
