Methods: Using clinical examination and testing, we observe adequate physical capacity in the patient. We produced two transfemoral skeletal prostheses with silicone liner and Velcro-belt suspension. The training was performed without complications. The patient had problems with self-care, productivity and leisure activities, so we produced additional orthotic devices for him. For assessing the rehabilitation outcome, we used the Functional Independence Measure, the 6-minute walk test and the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure. Results: The patient now walks with both transfemoral prostheses using adapted below-elbow crutches on flat ground and up the stairs. He is satisfied with the prostheses is. By using an individually designed holder for hammer or saw, he can perform demanding physical tasks. Conclusion: With the help of the rehabilitation team, the patient successfully and safely achieved the rehabilitation goalsIzhodišče: Želeli smo prikazati celostno rehabilitacijsko obravnavo bolnika z Buergerjevo boleznijo in posledično obojestransko transfemoralno amputacijo ter amputacijo prstov obeh rok. Metode: V študiji primera smo s kliničnim pregledom, preiskavami in testiranji ugotovili zadostno zmogljivost bolnika za hojo s protezama. Izdelali smo nadkolenski protezi s silikonskima vložkoma in suspenzijo na velkro trak ter proteznima kolenoma na zaklep. Vadba hoje je potekala brez zapletov. Bolnik je imel težave na področju skrbi za samega sebe, produktivnosti in prostega časa, zato smo izdelali še različne ortotske pripomočke. Pri ocenjevanju izida rehabilitacije smo uporabili Lestvico funkcijske neodvisnosti, 6-minutni test hoje in Kanadski test za ocenjevanje izvedbe dejavnosti. Rezultati: Nadkolenski protezi si bolnik samostojno namesti in hodi ob opori na prilagojene dokomolčne bergle po ravnem terenu in po stopnicah, s protezama je zadovoljen. S pomočjo individualno izdelanega ortotskega pripomočka za držanje kladiva ali žage opravlja različna, tudi težja fizična opravila.
