The femorai triangle lies between the inguinal ligament at the base, the sartoriusmuscle at the lateral border and the long adductor muscle at the medial border. The apex of the femoral triangle is situated at the meeting point of the medial borders of the sartorius and long adductor muscles. The subinguinal space, which is divided into the lacuna musculorum and lacuna vasorum, provides a passageway for the lateral cutaneous nerve of calf, femoral ramus of the genitofemoral nerve, femoral artery vein and nerve and the adjacent lymphatics as well as for the greater psoas in th e iliac musclesV članku je topografsko in vsebinsko opisan femoralni trikotnik (trigonum femorale). Bazo trikotnika tvori ingvinalni ligament, lateralni rob krojaška mišica (m. sartorius), medialni rob dolga pritezalka (m. adductorlongus), vrh pa je mesto križanja med dolgo pritezalko in krojaško mišico.
