We also assessed their satisfaction with the orthoses using a survey. Methods: Twenty-four people who had visited the Pharmacy Soca to receive prescribed AFOs or AOs were willing to participate and were included in the study. We used a questionnaire to follow-up the usage of, and satisfaction with, serial AFOs or AOs. The questionnaire was administered with a telephone interview 30 and 90 days after receiving the orthosis. Results: The survey was filled by nine women and 11 men with an average age of 60 years. Participants used serial AFOs or AOs for 5.9 days per week and 7.2 hours per day on average after 30 days since receiving it, and for 5.3 days per week and 8.8 hours per day on average after 90 days since receiving it. The analysis did not confirm statistically significant differences. The majority of complains from the participants regarding the orthoses were about the fitting procedure, unbreathable material (plastic) and poor durability of the straps. Conclusion: The results of the study will be of help in our further work, as we will be able to focus on the causes of potential non-use and anticipate possible user concerns in advance, which should lead to better rehabilitation outcome of each individual</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Izhodišča: Z raziskavo smo želeli ugotoviti, ali osebe, ki jim je bila izdana serijska ortoza za gleženj in stopalo (OGS) ali ortoza za gleženj (OG) v lekarni Univerzitetnega rehabilitacijskega Inštituta Republike Slovenije - Soča (lekarna URI - Soča), še vedno uporabljajo ortoze po preteku 30 in 90 dni po prejemu. Z anketo smo ocenili tudi njihovo zadovoljstvo z ortozami. Metode: V raziskavo je bilo vključenih štiriindvajset oseb, ki so bile oskrbljene s predpisanimi OGS oz. OG v lekarni URI - Soča, in so bile pripravljene sodelovati v raziskavi. Zaključek: Rezultati raziskave bodo v pomoč pri našem nadaljnjem delu, saj se bomo lahko osredinili na vzroke morebitne neuporabe in vnaprej predvideli morebitne težave uporabnikov, kar naj bi privedlo do boljših rezultatov rehabilitacije vsakega posameznika</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-09A8YIN5"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-09A8YIN5" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-09A8YIN5/87060312-3ab1-40fd-82e0-3c3df76da1e5/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerzitetni rehabilitacijski inštitut RS – Soča</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-09A8YIN5/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-09A8YIN5" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
