The wear scar diameters were examined by using the scanning electron microscope with energy dispers X-ray analyzer (SEM-EDXS). The test results show similar or even better lubrication properties of rapeseed-based oils compared with a commercially available mineral based oil. The rapeseed-based oils exhibit lower coefficient of friction in the boundary lubrication regime, equivalent scuffing wear protection, better pitting resistance and good lubrication properties at high load - slow speed conditions</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V prispevku so predstavljeni rezultati meritev koeficienta trenja, obrabe, zajedanja, jamičenja in drsne obrabe za olja na osnovi oljne repice (oljne ogrščice) v primerjavi z oljem na mineralni osnovi. Za obravnavo obrabnih kotanj, zajedanja, jamičenja in drsne obrabe smo uporabili rasterski elektronski mikroskop z rentgenskim analizatorjem (SEM-EDXS). Rezultati opravljenih preskusov so pokazali enakovredne oz. celo boljše mazalne lastnosti repičnih mazalnih olj v primerjavi s tržnim mineralnim oljem.
