The FEM (Finite Element Method) was used to carry out the analysis. The analysis dealt with centrifugal load for two cases of braking, braking to a standstill on a flat surface and braking downhill, maintaining constant speed and afterwards braking to a standstill. The main boundary condition in both cases was the entered heat flux on the braking surface of the disc and the force of the brake clamps. Analiza je bila opravljena z metodo končnih elementov (MKE). Obravnaval se je vpliv samih sredobežnih obremenitev ter dva primera zaviranja, in sicer zaviranje na ravnini do zaustavitve in zaviranje po brežini navzdol za vzdrževanje konstantne hitrosti ter z naknadnim zaviranjem na ravnini do zaustavitve. V obeh primerih zaviranja je bil glavni robni pogoj vneseni toplotni tok na zaviralnih površinah zavornega diska ter pritisk zavornih klešč na disk.
