In Slovenia a standard operating procedure was defined in December 2014, by the Slovene Chamber of Pharmacies who also provides an educational programme to ensure pharmacists competencies for service provision. In june 2015 the first pharmacists were certified. The article further presents results and conclusions of two implementation studies performed in Slovenia in the first year of the actual performance of the service in practice. The aim of the first study was to get an insight into the implementation of Medicines Use Review in Slovenia from the perspective of the community pharmacists that were the first providers of the service in practice. The purpose of the second study was to evaluate drug related problems identified by pharmacists during the performance of medicines use review, as well as risk factors, pharmacists' interventions and their outcomes"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Cilj storitve pregled uporabe zdravil je izboljšati pacientovo sodelovanje pri zdravljenju z zdravili, seznanjenost z zdravili in način uporabe zdravil, ter odpraviti morebitne težave pri zdravljenju z zdravili, ki jih pri tem lahko odkrijemo. Članek opisuje razvoj storitve, ki je potekala pod okriljem Lekarniške zbornice Slovenije ter njeno implementacijo v praksi. V ta namen je bila oblikovana tudi posebna komisija %Skrbnik kompetenc%. Storitev je bila uradno potrjena decembra 2014. Prvi magistri farmacije so kompetenco pridobili v juniju 2015 in sicer v okviru posebej oblikovanega programa izobraževanja. Na podlagi izkušenj v prvem letu po formalizaciji storitve sta bili izvedeni implementacijski raziskavi.
