Tej zbirki, ki obsega primerke iz Francije, Španije in rimske kolonije Akvileje v Italiji, lahko dodamo eno nožico iz Kölna in morda še dve polmesečaste oblike iz Badna v Švici in iz avgustovskega tabora Augsburg-Oberhausen v Nemčiji. <br>Feugere svoje domneve ni mogel podpreti z navedbo kake rimske posode, ki bi imela take solzaste nožice še in situ. Med bronastimi posodami iz Pompejev pa sta dve različnih oblik, velika skodela in košaričasta posoda, obe z zaokroženim dnom, ki sta imeli na njegovi zunanji strani »tre piedi a forma di virgola«. <br>Kot je pogosto pri nožicah italskih bronastih posod iz pozne republikanske dobe, uporaba rimskih kapljičastih nožic ni bila omejena na eno vrsto bronastih posod.
