The main goal of the work presented here is to develop a system for precise step gauge calibration, which will offer the Slovenian industry cheaper and easily available step gauge calibration. The target measurement uncertainty was chosen based on local and global market research and determined as U??(?(0,1 µm)?^2+?(0,5•?10?^(-6)•L)?^2 ). This goal was achieved by using advanced computer simulations for help with development and extensive automatization of the measurement procedure. We have also developed a procedure for calibration of standard rings and standard plugs using the same equipment. In this way, the cost of equipment which represents the majority of development cost can be spread between two measurement procedures. The first part of the work presents the used equipment and upgrades needed for the developed procedure. This is followed by a presentation of the development of the measurement procedure, with an emphasis on environmental control. Finally, the last part presents the analysis of measurement uncertainty for both procedures and verification of the determined measurement uncertainties</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V doktorskem delu je predstavljen razvoj merilnega sistema in postopkov umerjanja stopničastih meril ter etalonskih obročev in trnov. Glavni namen razvoja sistema je slovenski industriji ponuditi cenovno in časovno dostopno storitev umerjanja stopničastih meril. Ciljna merilna negotovost, s katero opredelimo točnost umerjanja, je bila določena na osnovi zahtev trga in analize meroslovnih zmogljivosti najnaprednejših svetovnih meroslovnih institucij in znaša U??(?(0,1 µm)?^2+?(0,5•?10?^(-6)•L)?^2 ). Ta cilj smo uspeli doseči s pomočjo uporabe naprednih računalniških simulacij za pomoč pri razvoju in avtomatizaciji postopka meritev. Prav tako smo razvili postopek za umerjanje etalonskih obročev in trnov, ki uporablja isto opremo, saj se lahko tako strošek opreme, ki predstavlja največjo finančno breme pri razvoju postopka umerjanja, razdeli med dva postopka.
