We point out that the proportion of female journalists and editors in recent decades has grown significantly in journalism, despite the characteristics of masculinisation (long and atypical working hours, business trips, inflexibility in the work-life balance). Meanwhile, inequalities in the media on both the employment level and the level of media representation have not been reduced but maintained and reproduced through the existing gendered organisational structures and processes, management and decision-making positions. Based on analysis of 10 interviews with the management of three TV stations (TV Slovenia, POP TV and Planet TV), we find that journalism's transformation from the gender perspective is recognised solely as a quantitative indicator of the increasing number of women in journalism and, consequently, as gender equality having been achieved in employment in television stations. We note that the failure to address critical issues related to gender and gender equality in management and employment in the media enables the reproduction of the existing gender inequality in the media"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V članku problematiziramo feminizacijo novinarskega poklica v kontekstu neenakosti spolov v medijih. Izpostavimo, da se je delež novinark in urednic v novinarstvu v zadnjih desetletjih izrazito povečal navkljub značilnostim maskuliniziranosti (dolgi in netipični delovniki, pogoste službene poti, manjše možnosti usklajevanja zasebnega in poklicnega življenja). Hkrati pa se neenakosti v medijih kot področju zaposlovanja in na ravni medijskih reprezentacij niso zmanjšale, temveč se ohranjajo in reproducirajo skozi obstoječe uspoljene organizacijske strukture in procese delovanja, načine vodenja in položaje odločanja. Na podlagi analize desetih intervjujev z vodstvenimi in vodilnimi zaposlenimi v treh televizijskih hišah (TV Slovenija, POP TV in Planet TV) ugotavljamo, da je transformacija novinarskega poklica z vidika spola prepoznana izključno kot kvantitativni pokazatelj večjega števila žensk v novinarstvu ter posledično kot dosežena spolna enakost na področju zaposlovanja v televizijskih hišah. Ugotavljamo, da odsotnost kritičnega naslavljanja vprašanj o spolih in enakosti spolov pri vprašanjih delovanja, vodenja in zaposlovanja v medijih omogoča reprodukcijo obstoječih neenakosti spolov v medijih"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-US50PY4C","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:DOC-US50PY4C"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-US50PY4C/5122da58-ac8a-4a22-8f4c-76cb24ee0c5e/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-US50PY4C/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-US50PY4C"}}}}
