Compressive strengths after 28 days for each sample were determined. A response surfae function for compressive strength prediction was obtained. Production costs were determined as the sum of costs for raw materials and estimated costs for grinding. Computer program SOLVER (EXCEL) was used for the determination of cements with minimal production costs in different compressive strength classes. These results will be used as a starting point for the development of new types of composite Portland cements in Salonit Anhovo cement factory"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku želimo opisati poskus optimizaacije mešanih portlandskih cementov različnih trdnostnih razredov glede na proizvodne stroške. Na podlagi eksperimentalnega načrta smo v laboratorijskem mlinu pripravili 28 različnih cementov, pri katreih smo izmerili tlačne trdnosti po 28 dneh. Iz rezultatov smo dobili modelno funkcijo polinomskega tipa za napoved tlačne trdnosti cementa v odvisnosti od njegove sestave in finosti. Proizvodne stroške smo določili kot vsoto stroškov za surovine in ocenjenih stroškov mletja. Z uporabo programa SOLVER (EXCEL) smo izračunali najcenejšo sestavo mešanih portlandskih cementov v posameznioh trdnostnih razredih.
