Three hypotheses were tested: time of reading aloud; number of mistakes during reading aloud; reading comprehension check by using questions. The results showed that the two groups are comparable only to the individual elements of the reading ability. The two groups have different mechanisms of functioning which is reflected in their reading abilities and their reading comprehension. Despite the differences, we determined that the effectiveness of the knowledge acquired in both groups is comparable, the differences having no statistical significance</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prispevek predstavlja dosežke bralnih sposobnosti učencev iz drugih razredov osnovnošolskega programa in učencev iz petih razredov prilagojenega programa z nižjim izobrazbenim standardom. S statističnimi metodami so bile preverjene tri hipoteze: ugotavljanje časa glasnega branja, števila pojavljenih napak med glasnim branjem in preverjanje razumevanja prebranega besedila s pomočjo vprašanj (skupni točkovnik). Testiranje učencev obeh skupin je pokazalo, da sta skupini primerljivi le v posameznih elementih bralnih sposobnosti. Učenci drugih razredov imajo drugačne zakonitosti funkcioniranja in to se kaže pri razvitosti in dovršenosti njihovih bralnih sposobnostih.
