Investigated diffusion couples were made by subsequent screen-printing of yitria-stabilized zirconia pastes (YSZ) on NiO-YSZ pellet substrates. NiO-YSZ mixed powders for the substrate preparation were synthesized by the combustion route, while YSZ for the screen-printing pastes was a commercial powder (TOSH, TZ-8Y). Prior to printing the YSZ powder was dispersed in the organic liquid phase in ratios from 40 % solid YSZ powder and 60 & liquid phase to 60 % solid YSZ powder and 40 % liquid phase, and then submitted to different homogenization procedures. According to the performed rheological tests the optimal homogenization time interval for the preparation of the YSZ paste was 10 min to 30 min, and the most favourable paste composition contained 40 % solid powder and 60 % liquid phase. In this case no delamination was observed in the co-sintered NiO-YSZ/YSZ diffusion couple. The final porous substrate microstructure was achieved by temperature programmed reduction, where the NiO-YSZ layer was transformed into Ni-YSZ cermets"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Kompozitni material na osnovi niklja in z itrijevim oksidom stabiziranega cirkonijevega oksida (Ni-YSZ) je bil pripravljen po metodi zgorevalne sinteze z vsebnostjo 50 prostorninskih deležev niklja. Uporabljeni ionski prevodnik YSZ je bil komercialno dostopna kemikalija proizvajalca TOSH z oznako TZ-8Y. Difuzijski členi so bili pripravljeni s stiskanjem mešanega oksida NiO-YSZ v tabletko in kasnejšim nanašanjem ionskega prevodnika s tehniko tiskanja. Ionski prevodnik YSZ je bil za tiskanje pripravljen tako, da je bila suha snov(YSZ) dispergirana v organski fazi z različnimi masnimi deleži prahu YSZ (40, 50 in 60 %) ter homogenizirana pri različnih časih (0, 5, 10, 30 in 60 minut). Rezultati reološke analize pripravljenih past ionskega prevodnika pokažejo, da ima pasta, homogenizirana 10 min in 30 min, za tiskanje najugodnejše elastične in viskozne lastnosti. Po sintranju in redukciji difuzijskih členov je bila med plastema opažena najboljša oprijemljivost in sinterbilnost pri pasti z masnim deležem 40 % suhe snovi ter časom homogenizacije 10 min oziroma 30 min. Prav tako v tem primeru ni bilo videti razslojevanja med plastmi.
