It describes the instruments that are adapated for the Slovene situation. The methodology is based on observation and on measurements of all activities of the nurses and the health technicians, categorisation of patients according to their needs for nursing care, subjective scores of the nurse on the workload on the day ofthe measurements and calculation and evaluation of the measurementsV članku je prikazana metodologija merjenja količine dela v zdravstveni negi, uporabljena v mednarodnem projektu "Količina in kakovost v zdravstveni negi" vZdravstvenem domu dr. Adolfa Drolca Maribor. Opisana so orodja, ki so prilagojena slovenskim razmeram.
