The mixture was prepared with addition of hydrated lime and bentonite. The mineral composition of the mixture after hydration was controlled by the method of x-ray powder diffraaction. After one day mineral ettringite begins to form. Its content increases up to sixty days, when the mineral composition of the mixture becomes stable. During formation of ettringite, the content of gypsum, portlandite and clay minerals decreasesZa potrebe raziskav uporabnosti elektrofiltrskega pepela in odpadnih produktov za zasipavanje jamskih objektov je bila pripravljena zasipna mešanica elektrofiltrskega pepela TE Šoštanj, produkta odžveplevanja TE Šoštanj - sadre ter odpadnega emajla TGO Gorenje Velenje. Dodana sta bila hidratizirano apno Zagorje in bentonit IBECO S-80. Z rentgensko difrakcijo smo spremljali mineralno sestavo zasipne mešanice po reakciji z vodo v časovnih intervalih od nekaj ur do 225 dni. Ugotovili smo, da v zasipni mešanici po enem dnevu začne nastajati mineral ettringit, katerega vsebnost narašča in se ustali po šestdesetih dneh.
