Sequences of narrow and wide tree-rings, reaction wood, wounds and callus tissue formation, traumatic resin ducts, exposed roots, and anomalies in vessels and tracheids in the wood in trunks yield important information on geomorphic processes and are therefore valuable in dendrogeomorphological research. Reconstruction and dating of dynamic and magnitude of the past geomorphological processes yield crucial information, which could help in the natural hazard assessment"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V članku je naveden kratek pregled vplivov geomorfoloških dogodkov in odzivov dreves nanje. Zaporedja ozkih ali širokih branik, reakcijski les, poškodbe in nastanek kalusa, travmatski smolni kanali, anomalije v trahejah in traheidah lesa v deblu ter razgaljene korenine dreves na izpostavljenih območjih vsebujejo informacije, ki so bistvenega pomena pri dendrogeomorfoloških raziskavah.
