By genre they consist of negatives, photographic plates, microfilms, clichés, photos, postcards and situation, cadastral, regulation plans and plans of individual facilities. The article reviews methods of storage, preservation, digitization, use and processing of these records. Consequences of inadequate storage conditions are also presented, along with necessary restoration and conservation, technical equipment, microfilming and digitization, description elements of a single archival unit and inventory reports. The author also presents access to these records through the computer network, ordering and publishing photographic and microfilm reproductions and copyright"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek predstavlja slikovno arhivsko gradivo dveh velikih in pomembnih zbirk v Zgodovinskem arhivu Ljubljana. Po zvrsteh so to negativi, fotografske plošče, mikrofilmi, klišeji, fotografije, razglednice, situacijski, katastrski, regulacijski načrti in načrti posameznih objektov. Skozi daljše obdobje spremlja načine hrambe, materialno varovanje, digitalizacijo, uporabo ter popisovanje in mednarodne standarde. Predstavi posledice neustreznih pogojev hrambe in potrebno restavriranje in konserviranje, tehnično opremo gradiva, mikrofilmanje in digitaliziranje, elemente popisa posamične arhivske enote ter inventarna poročila.
