Zagotavlja informacije o notranji strukturi manjših vzorcev z največjo ločljivostjo 1 mikrom.V tej študiji so bili izbrani različni materiali, kot so beton, malta, jeklo, zemljina in asfaltni kompozit. Glavni cilj tega prispevka je oceniti mikrostrukturo in patologijo (korozijo) gradbenega materiala z uporabo rentgenske mikrotomografije, predvsem z vidika uporabeX-ray computed microtomography (micro CT) is now widely available for a non-destructive evaluation of various building materials.
