There are several reasons for this situation, but the historical one is by no means decisive. In Slovenia, the Roman Catholic Church is the one who should evangelize, and not society, nor believers, the number of which has recently slightly increased. There is nothing to show that Slovene clerics understand what is happening. The Slovene society - including the Catholic majority of its citizens - is strongly prosocialist and anti-capitalist oriented, and strongly favors greater egalitarianism; according to these characteristics, Slovenia is above the European average and the first among the former socialist countries. It should be emphasized that the category of religious people expresses even greater adherence to socialist values and greater resilience to neoliberalism than is characteristic of the category of unbelievers (including declared atheists). These trends in public opinion are even more pronounced in the student population of the Faculty of Social Work in Ljubljana. It is even more secularized than the Slovene public (according to the criteria for the departure from institutionalized religious practice and dogmatics), but at the same time it shows greater loyalty in relation to the posthumous life and miracles. This is not a contradiction, but one of the characteristics of secularization processes"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Slovensko javno mnenje je zelo kritično do rimskokatoliške cerkve v Sloveniji in to vseskozi, že od nastanka države pred četrt stoletja. Razlogov za takšno stanje je več, a zgodovinski nikakor ni odločilen. V Sloveniji je prav RKC tista, ki bi se morala evangelizirati, ne pa družba kot tudi ne verniki, število teh se je v zadnjem času celo nekoliko povečalo. Prav nič ne kaže, da bi slovenski kleriki razumeli, kaj se dogaja. Kajti prav slovenska družba - tudi katoliška večina državljanov - je zelo prosocialistično in protikapitalistično usmerjena ter izrazito preferira večjo egalitarnost; po teh značilnostih je Slovenija visoko nad evropskim povprečjem in prva med nekdanjimi socialističnimi državami. Pri tem je treba poudariti, da kategorija vernih izraža še večjo privrženost socialističnim vrednotam in večji odpor do neoliberalizma, kot pa je to značilno za kategorijo nevernih (tudi deklariranih ateistov). Omenjeni trendi v javnem mnenju so še bolj izraziti pri študentski populaciji Fakultete za socialno delo. Ta je še bolj sekularizirana od slovenske javnosti (po merilih odmika od institucionalizirane religijske prakse in dogmatike), hkrati pa izraža večjo vernost pri odnosu do posmrtnega življenja in čudežev. To ni protislovje, pač pa ena od značilnosti sekularizacijskih procesov"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-S6ZUM37C","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:DOC-S6ZUM37C"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-S6ZUM37C/4af6267a-ab02-4152-817c-1770d8c16d2c/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za socialno delo"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-S6ZUM37C/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-S6ZUM37C"}}}}
